Application Process


Important Update!
Thank you for your interest in St. Paul's Nursery School. Our tours are now closed and our classes are assigned for the 2009-2010 school year. Additionally, we are no longer accepting requests to tour the preschool for the 2010-2011 school year. Please contact the Registrar (registrar@stpaulsnurseryschool.org), if you have any additional questions. Should more slots for 2010-2011 become available, we may have an Open House this Spring for interested families.

1. Schedule a School Visit
Beginning December 1st for alumni families and pledging St. Paul's church members, and December 10th for new families, school visits are scheduled for children who are eligible to begin school the next fall. To enroll in the "junior class" your child must be 3 years old by September 1st of the school year, and to enroll in the "senior class" your child must be 4 years old by September 1st of the school year. Visits must be made by one or more parents with their child, and are scheduled on a first-come first-served basis. Priority is based on these scheduled visits - the earlier you tour, the higher on the wait list you will be placed.

2. Submit Application
Our online application form will be provided to you once you have scheduled your school visit. Applications must be received within a week following your school tour, along with a $75 non-refundable application fee, in order to keep your place on the wait list.

3. Application Status Confirmed
Spaces in our classes are filled in the following order: Board and Key Job Members, Alumni and St. Paul's Church Members, New Families. You will receive notice from the school at the end of March as to your application status. A tuition deposit is due 10 days from your acceptance in order for your child's spot to be secured.

4. Application Schedule

December 1: Alumni and St. Paul's church member registration begins with a scheduled visit December 10: New Family registration begins with a scheduled visit
January 4: Tours begin
End of February: In-house registration begins
End of March: Notification of acceptances and waitlist mailed out to families/Tuition deposits due for all families receiving acceptance letter
May: New Family Orientation
Early September: Required Orientation Night for all enrolled families/Mandatory parent training classes for all families begin/school year begin
